Molly Update

My sweet girl had a terrible night and she had a seizure during the night. I was laying on the floor with her all night until 8am when I lay on the sofa for 30 minutes and dozed. In that 30 minutes my girl had a very bad diarrhoea with blood in. She was taken to the vets this morning and they sent to the hospital as her temprature was sky high and she was dehydrating despite my syringing fluids into her through out the night. The first thing the hospital said was she had a heart murmur and they wanted to run a battery of tests so sadly I had to leave my angel with them and wait while they gave her iv fluids and antibiotics and ran the tests.

Just heard from the vet and my precious girls kidneys are failing, her white blood cell count is sky high and she has severe hemorrhagic diarrhoea. She is on iv fluids and iv mega strong antibiotics and they will be monitoring her until Monday morning when they will redo her kidney tests to see if there is an improvement so it is a case of wait and see. As you can imagine I am beside myself with worry and the house is so horrible without her.

Love & Thanks for all your thoughtful messages and kind wishes.

Sorry can't type anymore

Please know our thoughts continue to be with you. They really are. We have checked back every few minutes that we could to see if there was any update and we all appreciate your taking the time to post when you must be in such bad shape yourself. Of course we were hoping for better news but we continue to hope and pray that the situation improves. At least Molly has good care.

Dear One, Please know that you and Molly Pop are in my heart and in my prayers. I know how terrified and lonely you are feeling right now.
I believe in POSITIVE thoughts. Please take a few minutes to sit and remeber all of the fun and funny things that Molly has done. Think of the hours and hours you have spent together. Now channel all of those marvelous memories to Molly. I KNOW she will feel them and understand them. She will feel better and I hope you will too.
Molly is in good hands.
I pray for her full and speedy recovery. sincerely, L.Price

Oh Miss Molly's Mom - we're so sorry to hear this news! We hope and pray that Miss Molly will be strong enough to get through this - we are sending all our healing thoughts your way and we are here for you if you need anything, anything at all.

We know it must be horrible not to have your sweet girl around but she's in the best place right now - try and look after yourself (we know it's hard at times like this) so you're not ill yourself when it's time for your girl to come home.

MESSAGE FROM PIP....
Pip is having internet troubles and he feels just terrible that he couldn't post to you. He IS able to READ blogs and Comments but is unable to comment directly right now.
Pip asked me to let you know that he is just heartbroken and sick with worry about his dear sweet Molly. He has his paws crossed for BOTH of You, and he sends his love.
He asked both Puddles to do this. I know that she has already passed the word to you, butt I think Pip will feel better if he sees that we both did this for Molly and for HIM.
There are sooooo many of us pulling for our dear furend The Divine Miss Molly.
